Mastering Rates

All Rates Are In Canadian Dollars **

Indie Artist/Indie Label Rate, Mastering/Digital Editing:

$85.00 per hour

Pre-master CD: $25. for an album, $15. for an EP and $5. for a single.

Reference CD (for proofing): $5.

DDP Image File Master + reference CD: $60.

CD-R Copies: $5.

Archive/safety of mastered tracks & digital settings $25. ($15. for an EP and N/C for a single). All analog setting are logged, as well.

Indie Artist/Indie Label Rate, Mastering, UNATTENDED SINGLE RATE:

$100.00 (includes one revision, if needed)

$10.00: To master each alternate mixes, i.e., Show, Instrumental, A Cappella, etc. Please note that the mix settings must be identical to the Main track.

$140.00 per hour

$120.00 per hour block rate for an 6+ hour day

Pre-master CD: $25.

Dubbing/Duplication (DAT to CD-R, DAT to DAT, DAT to Cassette, Vinyl to CD-R):

$50.00 per hour dubbing/duplication + media. Please note that if you decide that the audio needs any editing (including cleaning up & re-fading endings) or mastering (i.e., equalization, compression & volume maximizing), the job will be billed at our regular mastering rates. In this case, please make sure the mastering engineer is booked for your job.

  Canadian orders are subject to GST (5%) plus PST (8%) in Ontario and GST only for the rest of the provinces.

  **Clients outside of Canada please note: All rates are in Canadian Dollars. As of Oct. 09, the difference between the US dollar vs the Canadian dollar is approximately 5% so currently US clients will save 5% when they pay in Cnd. funds. Furthermore, orders shipped outside Canada are tax exempt. We value the cost of the disc for customs purposes, not the work, so there is no customs duties.

  Deposit requirements: 1) attended 10/12 song album: $250. 2) unattended 10/12 song album $350. For longer albums, EPs and singles, please ask.

• Attended, unattended and FTP sessions are welcome!

• We require a 50% deposit when booking a mastering session.
