Bageshree

Singer/dancer Bageshree Vaze's debut recording, Bageshree, is a multi-lingual musical experience. Blending North Indian classical (Hindustani) music elements with Western pop, the album is an agile confluence of different cultures, and a reflection of Vaze's Indo-Canadian upbringing. Distributed by Crescendo/BMG in South Asia, the album was very well received in the region, and MTV India named Bageshree its "Rising Star" in February 2004. Compositions and performance by Bageshree Vaze along with guest artists, produced by Meiro Stamm and Andrew Hurlbut and engineered by Peter Goodale.
