This outstanding collection of seven original tunes within the jazz spectrum, tells stories ranging from lust at first sight to the misty memories of love long lost. The opening song, "Swing Daddy", is the story of her father playing upright bass in a 1930’s swing band in the dance halls that dotted the shores of The Great Lakes and of how her family came to be. Dance halls where her mother loved to dance and where she first saw her future husband on stage. Among the highlights of "Cool Cat" is "Closer To The Truth", Catherine's duet with her producer, Chris Birkett.
