One Eyed Cat - Tried & True

This is my second album. This time around I have covered several artists that I admire and play regularly at my gigs. I did, however, include one original song, With The Sun On Your Side. While I do enjoy writing, I enjoy performing more and find the wealth of music to pick from is enormous. In this album I wanted to capture songs that 1) I could do justice to and 2) add my own style. Four Strong Winds is a good example. We could not find any other version quite like the one we came up with. When I say we, I mean my lead and bass guitar player, Michael Davies and me. It has a certain country rock drive which, perhaps, comes from my rock and roll days in the 60s and indeed Mike's "walking" bass lines in the chorus.
