Colleen Hodgson's debut CD, a collaborative work with songwriting partner Maggie Fraser, was recorded at Liquid Toronto by multiple Juno and Maple Blues award-winning producer Alec Fraser (Jeff Healey). The result is an outstanding collection of darkly romantic, vividly moving songs brought to life by the fragile, powerful and emotionally charged vocals of Colleen Hodgson.

Danny Bakan (pronounce it Back - in) is a master at combining the richness of tradition with the innovation of individuality. With solid roots in traditional North American repertoire, a passionate love of music and charismatic natural presence, Bakan delivers songs that speak to a love of life in all its grand stupidity - songs that are funny, smart and touching.

The instrument played on the CD is a 6 string C.F. Martin, approximately 30 years old with a bright and warm patina. The ballads are sharp and sweet, reminiscent of tea and oranges.

This intimate album marks the debut of local musical project and one-woman-show The Meantime.
